This is a museum now but once was the house of the first settler in Watertown Wisconsin. Behind this house is the Americas Very First Kindergarden. I will post some photos of that in the future,

Post, not much done on this one. converted from raw slight crop a few tweaks to contrast highlights shadows a little sharpening saved as jpg.

I find the composition a bit plain and flat. It's a picture of a building and nothing in it really commands my attention. The branches in the foreground distracts and they have some halos around it from the sharpening process (I get that a lot too from oversharpening sometimes) Also from the looks of it it appears hexagonal with only 6 sides and not 8 (assuming this is what you implied in your title). At the moment it looks like an oversharpened snapshot. Perhaps you can play around with the composition a bit to make it interesting, like a shallow DOP, or a wide-angle shot from an interesting perspective or something.
