Close Rob, close! I had a feeling this was another Brighton Pier shot, Good one Rob. I like the way you got those yachts in between the deckchairs there.

By the way, don't you guys have anything else to take photos of in Brighton except your pier?

Nice placement of chairs and yachts, good colour, Top railing tends to cut the pic

Beautiful... unusual but effective composition, great light and shadow, good use of duotone with a well chosen hue. This photo evokes a wonderful mood. I won't be surprised to see this win a ribbon. 10

The light makes this photo, with the touches of blue contrasting perfectly the overall tone

ahhh... at last a photo that I really like. Now I am done witht he voting I can say that this is my second favorite picture. I love it all. I love the sunset colors that are accented perfectly with the blue. I love that the chairs are blue and the ocean is pink. I love the haze on the ater. I love love love the contrasting patterns: the curly fence, the choppy water the diagonal boards, the striped chairs. I like that the two people are looking at eachother, rather than out at the view, it makes the picture more intimate. I likw how all the leading lines point towards the center, drawing the viewer back in. the slanted deck seems to point left to the chairs, the shadows point towards the chairs, the blue strpipes point in, In fact, everything points towards the bag between the people making me wonder whether they are elderly travelers, where they are and where they are going next - tells an open ended story. I like that the picture is divided into horizontal thirds with most of the interest in the center third and the top and bottom playing supporting roles. I like how the boats are framed perfectly inside the spaces created by the fence. I like the feel of the warm colors, but that the people seem to ne wearing coats, a nice contrast of temperature that subtly backs up the temperature contrast of the soft pinks and the bright blue. lovely, just lovely. 10

Through rose tinted spectacles? Interesting, perhaps a touch too much colour saturation? I like the image, particularly the haze in the background.

Nice, good entry! I love the "glow" of the air and sparkle in the water. It's nice how you got the two sailboats framed in the ironwork. ~9

This photograph is one of the most incredible I have encountered on this site. The shear beauty of the colors and the emotive power of the subject and compostion inspires me to work harder than ever to achieve this level of excellence. Thank you.

Love the light in this one. Good composition. Focus seesm to be a bit off, but I don't really mind it in this shot since the softness seems to work.

Nice shot. I like the light and dark but not crazy about the tone of red. The fence is really great.

I give this a 10...I absolutely love this photo and the feeling and mood it creates. I love the colors and the lighting...such serenity and peacefulness...and the sailboats off in the distance make this a remarkable photo!
