 This is a part of melting ice in Hrafntinnusker up in the highlands of Iceland. It's not a real glacier (to smal for that status). When I was recizing the image for sumbmission it got real frustrating because some of the color was missing but I decided to enter it anyway for it has been to long since I last enterd in challenge.

Wow-- I was sure after I looked at the picture and saw the title, that I was looking at one of my favorite deserts, Fudge Swirl Ice Cream! (I've been to Iceland, too! Great shot-- you brought out the beauty of the countryside in a delicious way. Congratulations on 11th place from a DC Newbie!

Hi Rognvaldur,

Congrats on the 11th place finish...not too shabby! But, I think your photo should have come in at least 3rd. To me, all the others that placed higher then yours, except for 2 had definate subjects. Keep up the good work!

Is this taken inside? Or is it a glacier. I just feel the light is weird to be taken outside. Its nice though. Made me stop up wondering what i were lookin at

Something about the textures, lines and blended colors just holds my eyes. Without a subject, no less. ;) Bumping it up to an 8.
