I do not find it is a good subject for a silhouette because it is not readable without any details: I know he is a thinker from the title, but I cannot see it. |

Sorry to give a low rating, but the silhouette of the thinker blended so much into the background he is hard to distinguish. |

I like the idea, i think a slightly different angle so you could see more of the hand on the chin would've made this work a little better, just my 2 cents :) |

That's a strrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeetttttttccccccchhhhhhhh.
The classic thinker pose might have been more believable.
Not sure how comfortable your model would have been with sitting around naked outside though... |

What's that glare on his face? It's REAL distracting. |

IMO... I think because this is so close up to the subject, it leaves you wanting to see more and almost feeling frustrated that it is dark... |

It's very hard to see details (like the hand in front of the face) with silhouettes -- results in an indistinct shadow where the viewer can't really see what's going on. The title helps a bit with this, but maybe shooting more in profile would have worked better for you? |

The composition makes me want to see the subjects face, but its the only thing silhouetted. |

Since many peoples are complaining about not knowing why they have a low score I decided to comment on every pictures that I scored below 5.
I gave this picture a 4 mainly because we can't really identify the thinker it's more like an under expose picture to me than anything else. |

rather than being a silhouette, this is a poorly exposed photo...sorry :-( |

nice idea but it would have worked better if the model had been positioned side on. |

Maybe a different angle could make this better? |
