Lens: Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di for Canon
Location: Montreal
Date: Aug 22, 2006
Aperture: 6.7 (I think)

Shutter: 1.5 sec
Date Uploaded: Aug 22, 2006

Some rope that didn't get taken on my boyfriend's most recent camping expedition.

Shot in Raw
Touch of WB adjustment
PS:
Used the double layer hue/saturation method to desaturate, then tweaked in curves for contrast and the blue tone

Last minute, and I'm sure it's gonna tank

DOF works great here to draw you to your main subject. I also love the duotone treatment it really helps the texture in the hand stand out. I really have no idea why this shot scored a 5.1, sometimes I don't understand voters.

I'd like this one a little more if the rope was a bit more defined and "real"... and maybe if it were dipped in poisonous glue and broken glass... maybe its just me...

Great, I love the color and the composition of this picture. Is it a ring that we see? Maybe, just maybe if it wasn't there, it would have been better, just my opinion. Well done.

HEE HEE - I did the same thing, but ended up submitting another image. The focus and DOF are good.
