Certainly looks like a magical place. Could be a bit sharper and perhaps a bit more contrast.

It is certainly a place of magic & mystery; I remember it well, from the late 50's. It is unfortunate that the weather was not more cooperative for you. I am left with the feeling that the square composition is not doing this justice, as well; I feel the need to see the estuary, the sweep of the low horizon, on the left. Even so, the image works well for me.

Good raw material, maybe explore the use of curves to get some pop?

I love this shot. I do find a sense of mystery but I think I would probably crop out the people in the lower left corner.

Nice one, but I think people are distracting and needs some more contrast.

The composition is a little too centered. I would have liked to see a different crop.

You might have cloned out the people for an even better photograph.

Nice image, and could use some cropping I think. People in the foreground are distracting from the main focus of the picture, though I do like effect of the path leading up to the creepy castle.

What a "magical" place you found! Really nice composition, would be cool if you could have somehow edited out the buses

WOW... that is such an interesting place.
Nice work on the angle, because I really liked the way the water curved off.

Nice enough snapshot, although I'd crop out more sky. And it could be better focused. I do like the placement of the people and the hillside, but it has utterly no connection to mystery or magic to me. 3.

Hmm, not getting a big M&M feel. The people sorta ruin it. Afternoon strolls don't make me think of magic or mystery. Perhaps some more dramatic PP to the clouds with a different crop. 4

So interesting. I would have explored cropping at the horizon as the structure is indeed magical.

Always a grand place. St. Michael's Mount in Cornwall on the other side of the English Channel is not nearly so grand. But both have a sense of mystery about them and lots of potential for wonderful photography. 8.

Great shot, though I wish it were a little closer to the castle. It looks like such a beautiful place!

Très bien avec les promeneurs - bien composé. (Plus de mystère, mais toujours bien le magi).

I think a little tighter crop might help this image. I would like to see more of details of the architecture and less of the foreground.

Very interesting place. Well suited for this challenge I would think. The way this image is put together feels more like a touristy snapshot than an artistic approach - the tour bus and vehicles parked on the road, the various groups of people, etc... - perhaps another time of day before or after visiting hours? Anyway, best of luck to you in the challenge.

I like this view of ? where I don't know. Interesting to see this place. I think it could of had a bit of color boost (depth) or perhaps b&w? You met the challenge! Good luck.

I like the composition and it does look like a magical place. The people in the bottom left really adds tot he shot. Only thing is it looks a little flat and dull on my monitor, like it needs more contrast.

I think it needs to be shot much closer with a much tigheter crop ... the people in the foreground ruin it for me ...
