A very neat capture which overflows with good tidings. And yes, there is magic and mystery in us all and all around. Bump.

NIce shot! May not resonate with the voters in light of the challenge but... still a delightful capture.

Beautifully done. Being a parent is certainly is full of magic & mystery and you captured it well in this pic (right down to the little bit of drool! hee hee). The love the father has is tangible here. There is a very light odd circle on the fathers forehead - not sure if that's a lighting issue but I'm still bumping you to an 8 for a job well done. Oh - and B&W is perfect here.

I originally gave this a 5 because the image didn't convey magic or mystery to me, but it's a nice shot nonetheless. And I usually expect the picture to tell the story, with the title as icing on the cake. However, here the title got me to broaden my perspective (esp. since I have two young daughters!).

Now, looking at the photo itself, I like the lighting, how you placed the baby and the dad's face, and of course the baby's expression! B&W works nicely, too.

It certainly does feel magical doesn't it. ;^)

Nice crisp, well-focused image with good technicals (composition, exposure). I hope you do well with this. Good luck and God bless.

CUTE baby, I would have liked to see more of the father's face to better illustrate his feeling of magic

I love the image. I wish you would have dodged the whites of his eyes a little to not make him look demonic. Regardless, the drool gave me a kick. 7

good portrait with a nice composition, though it is shoehorned into the challenge (I would have scored this at least a 7 otherwise). 6
