I found this plant in my garden. The photo was a little bit tricky.
I took an aquarium with a blue paper as background on my table in the garden. Filled it with water. Lay a small wood on it and put some earth on it. On the wood I put a filament and stick the plant on it. On the glass in the front of the aquarium I putted a double adhesive tape and glueted some earth with it. I used a mirror as background to see the sky.
I had problems with reflection on the glass so I had to use a big cardboard box to put my camera and me in.
In the picture are some mistakes, but it was the best one. You can see the plant in the mirror on the right, also you can see the filament at the left.

Thanks for the "how to" on the picture. I have to admit that I gave it a 5 because I didn't know how it was done and I didn't want to use the dq option. Sorry. You really did go to a lot of work, and I wish I had given it a better score.

This is such a great photo, and I loved reading how it was done...it should have done much better. Very creative idea that took a lot of planning. Nice shot.

Cool photo, would love to know how this was done.

I would love to know how you did this. Nice idea... the extra white border on the outside might be a bit much, it detracts a little from the subject.

Nice interpretation.

Clever shot. I'm wondering how in the world you did this.

where's the fire?

Where's the fire? Is life the fire? I'm lost...
Lovely pic tho.

Fantastic concept and execution. The roots in water are excellent. Not entirely sure about the effectiveness of the sky, but a darned good shot anyway. HOWEVER, I can't stand your border, which I'm going to have to knock off a couple of points for. I cannot concentrate on the photo with that huge frame pulling my eye away, and your photo has been made far too small. Shame. 7

The contrail messes it all up.

Fantastic idea and framed very nice. The shot just has too much back light. Difficult shooting.

Neat idea

Nice!!!

can't see any fire!

Great image though - best seen thus far ;) For what it's worth, your border is awful, and takes away some effect from the photograph. By square inches it's nearly 50% of the image.

But I like the photo itself ;)

Did you accidentally write the wrong caption? Where's the fire and wind? Spoils an otherwise nice photo.
