I gave this one a 9. Really loved all their expressions, the composition, and the whole goofy youthful feeling. Most of all, I like the level you took this at. btw, I didn't notice the border till now. Guess it blends in good. |

I totally agree with what bob said. It reminded me of what the trainspotting guys might have looked like as youth. Really awesome shot. A wee bit underrated. |

Good Composition and lighting. I think that the border could be a little smaller. Overall good shot. |

Great character portrait, I've not seen such an effective shot of young lads. This could almost be a poster for a movie, it really draws you in and encourages you to speculate on their lives and characters. Great composition. I can only dream of catching such an accomplished people shot. The frame works nicely, I didn't even notice it until now. I'm not sure this really captures an all-encompassing interpretation of Life though, so score: 9. |

great image, love the skin tones they are spot on. expressions are great too. Varied faces, and varied haircuts (kind of worthy of a gap ad). the chap on the right could do with being a bit tighetr like the rest is my only negative on this image.
However, the border to me ruins this, sorry but it does affect this otherwsie 10 photograph. a 4 frame border this thick starts to attract the eye off the photograph. It doesn't compliment it like say a gold frame woudl a pice of art.
Am scoring an 8. but without the frame a 10 i think.
You are obviously a good photographer, and this image made me look a bit longer than most.

Like the shot and the border. I like that they each have a distinctive expression, but none of them seem out of place. |

I love the composition! I also like how you get a sense of 4 different personalities. Fauxhawks (sp?) are popping up everywhere these days. |
