This is a photo of Liz, from the European GTG in Munster (I have a couple of more conventional shots of her in my portfolio).

Liz has a very lightly coloured skin, but I here I intentionally darkened it by leaving this shot underexposed. I love how she is "transpiring" from the darkness. I can imagine that this photo may be a bit too dark for some monitors. Sorry...
No noise or texture was added in post-processing - just honest to God digital noise from the camera:).

Thanks for comments guys! While it indeed was somewhat underexposed at the time of shooting, I could easily bring the shot out from RAW but I liked this "glow in the dark" (pardon the cliche) look much more. I have dozens of perfectly exposed shots of Liz which probably are not much different from what other workshop participants have. Here is for something different :)

yes, technically imperfect. Artistically PERFECT.

I like the "floating head" effect myself. The hint of grain is different and not typical.

It's an interesting effect, but I'm not sure if I like it as I think one of the most beautiful features of Liz was her light brown coloured skin.
If I didn't know her I would probably like it better.
