| The DOF really makes this shot "pop". There is also a slight amount of motion blur in the arms, which adds to the "action"-ness of this shot. The overcast weather really helped out, since it probably prevented a harsh shadow from being cast on the face from the helmet. Great job! |

| Nice job of getting up for a closer look of the athlete, this helps us to connect more. Good DOF. Not much action happening here, looks like he's running but not for any purpose that we can tell.. His face doesn't really tell us anything either, but it's still a nice close up. |

| Slightly overexposed IMHO but you captured a true emotion we have all felt. Nice depth of field. |

| Nice shot. The white is a little blown out, but nice focus and "concentration" on the subject. You should have tilted it to the right about 5 degrees. This would make the ppl in the background upright and give the subject the appearance of runner forward a little more. |

| good portrait sports shot. Exposure seems a little bit hot (the legs and helment are over exposed) but other than that it is good - is his face really that orange (nose) or did you boost the saturation ? Nicely blurred background makes this effective. |

| overexposed in the pants and other white areas and the horizon is crokked, but I really like his pose and look of determination |
