Milk with green food coloring in it in one of those little dipping sauce containrs that I stole from a local Applebees many years ago. I created the drops by using a child/pet syringe for feeding medicine and sucked up regular milk and started shooting in multi-shot mode.

This was a nightmare. I wasn't able to get the clarity I wanted at all trying to hold everything at once. I'm sure a tripod would've been helpful but only if I had a remote trigger. Heh. Maybe some other time when this is all a distant memory.

The border is distracting in this instance, and the hot-spots are prominent. But the green color is intense and the stop motion is definitely there.

backgground is way to overexposed but the idea of the picture is pretty sweet

Nice composition. The motion blur might hurt a bit though. Good job freezing the first splash.

Oh...too bad you didn't have a star filter on. Those points of light would have lite up beautifully! As it is you're probably getting some comments on the lighting being too harsh and the DOF too shallow (back edge of dish is OOF). The top drip ball (what do you call it?) is a little blurry. If that could have been sharp like the center of the dish I think some of the other items I've pointed out would have been inconsequential. Very close to having a top top image here...good luck and keep at it! ;^)

this is a bummer for me. this is an excellent take on the cliche, but the color just kills it. how i wish you had used a more appealing color than this...

Gotta say it's an icky color green! Not sure I want to know what it is... The blob isn't quite stopped as far as motion goes.

Difficult shot, hope you don't get deducted by the motion in the top drop.
