Hey this is fun! The bland sky worked in your favor on this one. ;^) Looks like an overcast, flat kind of day for shooting. You appear to be pretty deep on aperture as the background is all in focus. Don't know if you could have done it (may have been too far back from the subject), but a shallower aperture could have blurred that bg out some. Hmmm...nevermind on the bg blur thing - something about hyperfocal distance I think would have prevented it from where you were standing. I get the impression you were trying to include a good portion of the scene for context. Did you try cropping this down some - bottom and right - to get the jumper off-center more and to make him a larger subject for your image? Just a thought. Anyway, good luck in the challenge. |

Great capture! Nicely composed, and the border adds to it by enclosing the light sky. |

The only thing that makes this picture less than perfect is the color of the sky... -8 |

great shot. shame about the lighting, as it leaves the image a bit flat. this might have been better with a bw conversion and some work with the levels and curves. it's a shame when you have something this good to start with, but you don't take full advantage of the advanced editing rules... |

I like the 'pose'. I think you caught him at a very good moment to freeze the action. I wish the lighting conditions had been better for this shot. The surroundings and the man are quite dark, and the blank, white sky doesn't add interest to the shot either. Focus is great. I like how crisp the lines are in the shot. The yellow lines in the background are a bit distracting since it's really the only little bit of color in the photo. I think those could have easily been cloned out since this was advanced editing. Good stopped motion for sure! It made me smile.
