This is unique. Good for you. Makes the viewer think a little, which is fine overall. Hopefully the voters will slow down enough to figure it out. ;^) Only distraction for me is the few branches in the top left. Why not clone those out since it's advanced editing? Just a thought. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Good stop of the action, however I would have cropped this much tighter, all the trees make it hard to find the ball.

nice idea, but it needs work to really get its point across. the glove is too dark and the ball is far enough away that it takes more than a moment to 'get it'. unfortunately, if you don't hit viewers/voters right between the eyes, your score suffers...

The colors in this shot are nicely done, and you've capture the motion without any blur. However, there is some noticeable grain in the sky which is somewhat distracting to me. And while I like the texture that the clouds and trees lend to the photo, I feel it might have more of an impact if the subject was a bit stronger.

Beautiful colors on this and great stopped motion.
The composition doesn't work for me. I think it needs to have more
emphasis put on the ball by cropping to portrait mode and leaving
off the majority of the right side. Ideally, a different angle when shooting to eliminate the bits of tree on the top left and include more of the catcher's mitt. Just my humble opinion.

Unfortunately, the background seems to overwhelm this shot.

A bit hard to see the subject of the shot (the ball) at first - the mitt, which kinda appears as a blob at first, dominates, along with the trees to the right.

Interesting composition. Would have liked to see the ball a bit closer and therefore more prominent as its role in the picture deserves
