I like this. You can probably get some really great photos using this news paper. Black and white might have been better for this photo.

strong statement....sad, but true reminder of the past...good job on the creativity and photography, simple yet bold....

Again, this comes to my mind as historical more than nostalgia

the curtains and the light are lovely - maybe you could crop out the front edge of the table to emphasize them - we don't need the whole desk and the whole paper, it makes the composition too straight on. The main elements are the pencil trough in the desk, the headline and the lace.

I really like the idea here, although I wish you ulteres the angle alittle, reducing all the reflection from the light coming in through the window.

I remember this day in 7th grade. Our teacher got called into the hall, and when she returned she leaned against the door frame and we could tell from the way she looked that something was wrong. Then she spoke... the rest "is history."

I like the idea of the shot but I'm just not crazy about the background.

The idea seems attractive, but the background of the picture is really poor

with such an interesting paper, would ahve been nice to have done something more interesting with the composition & lighting.

My mother had the same headline paper in the Christmas ornament box. Every year, I'd read that article when we decorated the tree. Then one year, she pitched the old boxes and got new ones -- and pitched the paper too. "Why would I want to keep an old newspaper?" she asked. D'OH! See, you hit my nostalgia nerve. Nicely done.
