Probably not Zen enough for the viewers here, but to me it represents that serene, quiet harmony you might find in perfect functional design.

This was taken with my infrared-converted Canon D60.

Very good photo. Only thing I could say is that I'd like to see the whole window on the right, otherwise a very good composition. Congratulations on your finish!

this is probably the most genuinely interesting shot in the entire challenge....obviously the sky is spot on perfect...but the textures throughout, that makes the shot for me...sharp, perfectly exposed and nearly perfectly composed (would like to see a bit more of the window)...just fantastic...my favorite of the challenge, and I really hope you ribbon for this

Very nice. Wish the high contrast rectangle could have been toned down some.

zen is in the shower,
not the curtain. 4

this is wonderful shot of architecture; the green shades and the dramatic effects of sky, lighting, glass are very dramatic and WOWSER in instant appeal. not quite sure where the link between this wonderful image and zen is, but then it's a very much a whatever you intepret to be type thing. i feel that you're a bit hampered by the limit in size of the shot, it seems to have such presence and impact that only a bill board would do it full justice. truly gorgeous. 10.

looks faintly kew gardens... is it?

This reminds me of a place in Buffalo, NY. Interesting processing.

This is a great shot well composed and converted but IMHO it doesn't shout Zen

How can something this haunting, tragic, full of lines and patterns, be Zen? Well, it just is. Here my eyes can rest (unbelievable as that sounds) and I can be lost in thought. I think your very clever trick was the use of colour and light. It has created magic. A perfect 10 and fav.

It's a nice shot, like the color and the composition. It gives me a sense of nightmare though as it is so unnatural. To that end, I don't find serenity or harmony here. Ethereal - yes, other worldly - yes, gothic - yes. Nice shot, just not the shot for this challenge. 5.

I can imagine a stone, soundlessly breaking through a pane of glass and projecting into the world. The image is pregnant with possibilities. 9.
