i was walking up broadway about 7ish on a thursday morning, and i saw this girl standing in a doorway, having a smoke. i thought she would make an interesting subject, but when she kinda glared at me when we made eye contact, i just kept walking...
but, after going a few steps past the doorway, i turned and looked back and saw her hands sticking out. when she pulled her hand back to take a drag, i knew i would only have to wait a moment to get this shot.
who knows, maybe i should have entered this in the zen challenge...maybe i will ;-)
Most unusal.
Had sit and study this for a second due to the wall (assuming it was a wall) on the left. Photographically, it has all the wrong points, yet works well as it is.
