This is my cat Frank. He is a good boy, and he is very cute. He is kinda shy though, and a bit of a freak, so I had a bit of trouble getting this shot. This is probably the best picture of him I have! ;)

OMG!!!! How on earth did I miss this? I love the subtle quality. It is wonderful. It has intrigue because you have to study it. I love photos like that. What an eye for detail!

some light would help on this to get that one sweet white whisker!

I think it is too dark, I can hardly see any detail. The idea is nice though, perhaps with a different lighting it would be much better.

This photo might be too dark for my monitor as I can only see a whisker and little texture on the left...

quite underexposed, although i think that makes the picture. In any case, very attractive, i like the lines into the black. you have met the challenge well.

I'm sure I'm not the first to tell you, a little too much black and not enough white. Hard to tell what is in the picture.

Dodge them whiskers a bit and I think the shot would have worked alot better.

I passed on voting on this at home because my monitor is soo dark and in desperate need of calibration. Returned to peek at work and this is an awesome shot! 10

good idea, IMO it might've been more dramatic if they eyes were in the picture, same crop, just with the eyes there.... just my 2 cents :) nice detail in the fur & whiskers

You can barely make out that it's Frank's nose. Nice sharp photo though.

this has a nice minimalism, i like the focus on the nose. it was hard to find it tho :)

took me a minute to figure out what it was. The one white wisker is whimsical. I wish the cat's nose was a bit easier to see. Maybe a touch more brightness or a bit of levels or something. I do love the tight crop, though.

Real cool one but I think you should still set more light. Its great but hardly recognizable.

Took me a moment to figure out what this is, and then smiled at the prominence of a single whisker. Somehow find this image quite pleasing; it keeps pulling my eye back.

I rarely vote, and even more rarely comment on cat photos, but I had to stop and congratulate you on this one. Yes, it's dark (some may even complain that it's too dark), but that, to me, is what makes this image so outstanding. The one highlighted whisker cuts the negative space gracefully and is the icing on the cake for this masterful piece of photography. Simply put - 10.
