It's way too good for 32nd place. What a strange process this voting. I like the murkiness of the glass, the almost lost shape of the fish and the elegant chequered effect of lighting of glass and the background. My only grumble is that you don't provide the details of the process: for those of us who learn they are important.

like the idea ... but I find the goldfish a wee bit too dark

the fish gets a bit lost with all the color. since this was obviously set up, I'd recommend just a hint more lighting.

The subject is a bit cliché, but the colors are very nice. The top of the glass is too close to the edge of the frame, and the fish needs more light to make it stand more out from the shadows.

When a fish "sees red" it's time to get out! ;)

excellent shadow and clarity. perhaps a bit too dark for a color challenge.

this image is so soft I bet it'd be fuzzy to touch. very tactile.

COOL. If I were to change anything, I'd way off center the glass with the fish. As it is, it has that sense of bullseye centering, although the fish is to the left. I like the idea of it. I might even like it from farther away with the whole stem of the wine glass in the shot with lots of negative space to the right. I love he's looking right at you.

This appears to be more blending of colors, than photographing something red on a red back ground.

this is definitely a top 10 shot, and wouldn't surprise me in the least if you ribbon...perfect lighting, strong, interesting subject, fantastic color...basically, well done all around.

Nice idea - wish the focus was sharper though

great rich red colour and composition...perhaps the out of focus stem highlights are distracting, but nothing major, well done
