I'm going to have to agree here, no blurring or dodging please, maybe around the edges to give that dreamy memories look, but not in the middle or around your subjects, it detracts from the sharpness of the water and the dog that you've got going on otherwise, great capture btw

Overall, I think the photo is too soft and distracting. I'd like to see it crisp and in focus. Think it would be a nice photo.

You need to get a Lensbaby 2.0. ;^) If you like this look, it's a fun way to get some interesting shots and not have to put forth so much PP effort.

FWIW I like this image. It is fun and captures a happy moment. The blur line above the dogs head and past the water bucket is a bit too evident IMO. More feathering perhaps?

the blur looks artificial. the border between the water and the dog doesn't look quite right and the water in and around the bucket handle is not blurred.

I love the colors and I hate the soft focus. You catched a good moment and that makes it an interesting photograph. I would had taken the thing behind his head and included the dog's tale. Otherwise it's very good.

I like this. slightly sharper focus/less filter blur on the dog and water may help. but overall it has a very light summer time quality about it. makes me happy.

It's a fun, spontaneous moment you've captured and I love the colors. The pup looks like he's having a blast! :)
