this is a nice interpretation of the texture challenge... if you could have made the colors really punch a little harder, this would have been excellent :) = 6 - jmsetzler

What a clever idea! I think your creativity tops the charts this week!

An interesting concept of texture. I like it.

Clever idea -- but how long did it take to set up?

An interesting perception on texture of things.

Nice capture of a relatively difficult subject (pictures often give the worst glare). Texture, I get it, the puzzle pieces. I often gripe about the use of other's art, this is no exception. Ignore me, if you choose. Besides assembling the pieces, how did you make this art YOURS? I started you with a 5, my I don't know what to score vote, but have talked myself down to a 4. Swash
Addendum: Suggestion - don't complete the puzzle, leave a corner unfinished, lay some of the pieces left over in that open area and maybe even on top of the puzzle and you would have introduced YOUR art into this shot. ;)

This idea does not appeal to me at all. Very weak image.

interesting idea for texture. two things that i would've considered changing to make it a tad more interesting (imo): play around with the colors to increase the contrast a little bit. right now, the colors look a little flat to me. i would also maybe have taken out a couple of the pieces so that it's not just a jigsaw puzzle, but a puzzle in progress ... just a thought. i'm curious, why is it called big ben? -- gr8photos (4)

But it's not Big Ben...

The subject is a little confusing. I thought Big Ben was a clock tower. I do like the texture of this shot.

u must have had taken lots of effort for this one :)

Great idea. Never would have thought of that.

I don't think some one elses art work should be submitted as your own.If the puzzel were turned picture side down and the rough cardboard back with the puzzel cutouts were submitted you would get a higher score.

big ben? - have you 'picked' the right puzzle?
07/22/2002 03:40:00 PM
Now there was a job. I like it ........Kee

Doesn't look like Big Ben to me, but the puzzle texture does show up quite nicley.
07/22/2002 11:40:00 AM
i imagine it was hard to get the lighting right

hey, that's neat. a photo AND a texture. the grade kind of depends on whether or not this is your photo on the puzzle, assuming it is a puzzle of course. It could be a reflection or a double exposure or something of the sort. suffice to say, however, I like it a lot.
