Good focus and nice use of negative space. This image defies conventional wisdom that dictates putting more space in front of the subject than behind it, but I think it works well. Perhaps due to the shape of the leaf. But I don't think the photo would be nearly as effective without all that space behind the fly. The drop of liquid adds a nice touch.

Hoverlfies are one of my favourite subjects - you've done a good jobe here. Nicely exposed and sharp. Perhaps crop a bit tighter so we can see more of the fly?

Beautiful focus and clarity, nice color and background blur. Could be cropped differently for better effect.

Excellent! Love the detail on the fly - focus and lighting is good. The water drop on the leaf is perfect.

I might have cropped the photo just slightly tighter, the large space around the fly leaves my eyes to wander a bit, but that's the only suggestion I have...

Excellent focus on such a small subject. You must have been quick to capture this one.

Nice sharp focus on the insect. It might be better if it was cropped a little more.

I like the solitary drop of water.

I think I would have cropped out a little more of the background to bring more attention to the insect since it is so well focused.

Good picture, very simple, very clear, very much portrays the challenge.

really nice fly...a little too much green overall? Could you have cropped some top and right to bring the spotlight even more to the fly?

Wow. This may be my favortie thus far.

Nice, but I wish it was closer, and the bug's position in the frame is weird. The negative space doesn't add much.
[ps. Is this really a fly? I'm terrified of all yellow-and-black-striped insects (serious bee sting allergy) so I would run in fear from this. How comforting to know it isn't a bee. Wonder if they bite.]

Nice capture. A better shot might have cropped fly a bit closer in.
