Excellent picture Gunnar. Love the fact you use your boys as models as much as you do :o) They are beautiful and you really have taken a lot of great pictures of them... The colors in this one are really outstanding.. Well done.

This lad probably already has females of all ages dropping at his feet. I love the dramatic lighting. The warm lighting works far better for me than gold paint and I like how the light in the background balances the composition. Great shot!

I like the noise in the photo and the portrait look but personally the subject vs. the challenge isn't really there IMO. But seeing that it is a nice shot and well composed... <6>

It's a very beautiful portrait. A shot I would be proud of. I am not too sure about the crop here and I have no idea how it was framed or cropped, but I do know that it was cropped for some reason.

I also believe that someone who can produce this portrait would have made a good judgement seeing it from a different point of view.

So whatever it is, I think it's one of the best images in the challenge.

** I have been observing the image while I was wring the comment, and the crop doesn't bother me that much anymore. I think I am seeing what you wanted me to see.

No gold and yet so golden. This certainly has making of ribbon winner. The innocent look and the warm evening light makes this a 'golden' photo. This will surely be in top 5. There is a bit of noice in background but I dont know if it really is a negative for the photo. Goodluck.9.
