 I've always wanted to gold leaf a leaf...not easy, but so much better than just using paint. My husband had a bit of gold leaf on hand so here was my chance to experiment...I used a hosta leaf, they have a nice shape and texture, the gold leaf added it's own delicate texture on top of that.
