This was taken from Iwo Jima or precisely the Carillons. We took some shots down by the Capital right before the sunrise and then jumped in the car and raced the sun to get this shot. I wish the sky was little clearer that day but I have no control over the hazy summer days here is DC

Nice capture. The softness really adds to the mystique. Great that you captured 3 prominent structures in the shot too. Well done.

| Those muted hazy pastel tones are very cool and a little bit of a mystical air to it. The monument is a little too centered for my tastes, but still looks good as is. Very nice! |
