 Inspired by ursula's style of photographing flowers (very shallow DOF with the closest portion in focus). I'm pleased with how this turned out. I considered entering it in the Flowers Challenge (and probably should have based on my score)! ;-)

I have to say I like this method as well. I especially like the use of some color in the background which really sets off the QAL.

Straight to my faves. Love the angle of the shot. Great DOF and the color saturation is beautiful. That hint of purple in the background really helps the flower stand out. Beautiful Jimmy!
