Nice composition and indeed it's a rare perspective. Appears a bit out of focus to me.

Sorry, that doesn't fit the challenge. Also, the moon's pretty blurry and dark.

Yes, the moon's darker than usual during an eclipse, but that red would look better brighter.

Really hard to rate this over 5, I mean, it´s not even in focus. Had this shot been crystal clear and the moon filled up more of the frame I might have rated this pretty high but as it is, it got a 3 from me, mostly for image quality. Not trying to offend, just make a rule of at least telling people why when I vote 3 or less.

Unfortunatelly you don´t:
- Shows the moon perspective (relationship of depth of a subject or representing a 3D subject in 2D).
- Shows a new point of view of the moon (a misconcept very common in this challenge), like taking a picture from the moons surface or orbit.

Then, I need to tell you: DNMC!

All the empty spaces really doesn't add anything for me.

A rare perspectie indeed; however the image suffers from being out of focus. You also might want to consider cropping this to make it a horizontal image, as the negative space to the right of the moon is much more attractive and effective than the space above the moon.

ok...nice creative attempt. The moon needs to be in better focus I think in order to really make this shot better. I do like the coloration though.

I saw this moon... I just thought it was very hazy out and didn't realize it was an eclipse. Its out of focus though, and probably won't do so well in this challenge since it doesn't have anything in the foreground to give a sense of depth created by the phenomena called perspective, where things closest appear large and those farther away appear small.

Nice use of negative space. I wonder if a more "silvery" hue/color might make it pop more.

Is it an eclipse, or just a waning moon?
