...maybe there is hope for the world afterall.

equally interesting to me is the older generation's facination with the sincerity of the kids' friendship.

Great natural moment captured. Really, really nice black and white treatment!

A few observations...
- without the title, it would be hard to pinpoint the progress here.
- the old man in the bright white shirt is a bit distracting, my eye continues to drift back to him. I wonder if a crop of only the three boys would have worked better.
- the bench/horizon is tilted. Take a look at this tutorial, it may help.

Good Luck!

Nice. Good social commentary and nice black and white.

You captured a great moment. Technically there are a lot of clipped (blown out) highlights. Some doding could really help the image.

I just love this one. It's simple, and so candid and sweet. You really get the feeling that you're being let in on intimate friendship -- gives you a sense of belonging. Great job. Plus, I love baseball photos :)

The old gentleman in the back really completes the scenario. Peace between the races has progressed so much in my lifetime (I was raised in the 60's) and your picture speaks volumes. (Of course we still have a long way to go) I give it a 10.

It looks as though the last kid is about the slide off the bench b/c it and the ground isn't level. Cute photo, though.

Damn that couple in the background - they spoil this shot a bit. I am not taken with the non-level horizon on this
