I love my city, but I hate the haze it creates via pollution. I took this on top of the 270+ ft memorial of WWI.

Just crop, resize, desaturate and levels.

To answer some of the questions. I didn't do it in color because we are in a drought and the grass was half brown.

The sky is washed out due to pollution and heat.

My point that I was going for was, the city as a whole is a pollution product yet it looks beautiful.

The pollution is not shown in this photo, despite that the black and white colors make a nice panoramic view for the city.

Awesome idea, but it's washed out and unfocused

Not sure the idea/theme gets communicated as powerfully as it could in this shot. Interesting idea though.

Foreground range of gray is nice. Background a little washed out. Crop out a little sky.

Sorry mate... Didn't really click for me..
The title is a little tricky...
Wanted to say that... "how could pollition be beautiful"?
but... at second look.. I think I got what you meant..

Nice cityscape. Not sure where you're going with the title but I do like the shot.

don't you wish Liberty Memorial was open at sunrise or sunset?

It looks like a clear day to me. Unless you mean the pollution of the buildings covering up what once was wild land? If that's the case, good job!

Very nice. The park at the front guides me towards the CBD nicely.
