I couldn't think of what to do for a long time...until i told my friend at the gym what the challenge was...inspiration sometimes is so close to your nose, you just don't see it :) I couldn't take my camera into golds...so when i "screwed" up my shot with the tripod too far behind me, I realized that the shadow on the wall was far more compelling than me doing bicept curls...so I cleared the wall and started doing profiles. I did the black and white in camera and I liked it the best. God were my arms tired!! I had to put the camera on timer, set up and hold the shots...man that burn felt good! 90 pound curls, 63 shots in under 30 minutes, 1 good one, priceless! :)

Ah, it took me a little while to work out that the repetition was in his sets of 'reps'. I suspect many people may not have got this. The starkness is an interesting way of building atmosphere for a shot of someone working out. I think you should have increased the contrast loads though. 6

Clever take on the challenge... The repetion of the bricks and the implied 'repetion' of the curls. I'm not sure if it's the lighting, or post processing, but there is something "missing" here. I wish I knew enough to be able to tell you what it is... Good effort!

When Repitition is the action one is taking while being photographed, it becomes more difficult for some to see or feel it...Is that the case with this shot? I think I would have liked it more had the top of the shadow not been cut off at the head like that. tough to shoot this just the same and so for the attemp...6

I think it's kind of a funny picture. I didn't see how it related to the theme and it took a minute to realize repetion. duh. Not a very appealing picture though.
