 I bought a package of Post-its in neon colors. I thought of an image done by Wendy Stevenson (shudderbug) and tried to do something like it. She had used colored craft paper that had been curled in many different shapes and compositions. I love those shots. They are in her Better Photo Gallery if you ever get a chance.

Well the original concept did not work out quite as I wanted. First the Nikon seems to be have sensor dust issues and shooting anything light seems to bring that out the best. And if I shoot dark, which I tend to do with the Nikon, the noise issues are as bad as the Fuji's. So I reshot with the Fuji and came up with this.

I curled each of the 4 Post-its around a small cylintrical (sic) tube (eye glass repair kit). I stuck the Post-its in a pattern on a small box. I moved the box around in several positions and composed from there. The one I chose is not want I had in mind originally but it had a lot less issues than the others. The green Post-it curl could be a bit less severe but breaking the pattern works sometimes. Hope it does here.

Post: Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. Sharpen. Rotate 90° right. Resize. Sharpen. Save for web.

Colours are popping, and the lines are intersting, creating a nice rhythm. The shot is a little bit boring, the eye is searching for something to follow.
