| Needs rye bread or a bagel, not whole wheat. But seriously, I like the textures and the contrast between the bread/lox and the background color. I'd like to see the whole piece of fish and the whole piece of bread. 6 sjgleah |

| Its a well lit pic, but I'm not feeling 'texture'. Not really sure why, though. You could try oiling the fish to get a shiny texture and scattering some crumbs around. |

| Perfect! This shows texture in the two definitions that I would normally associate with the word. "Salmon has a mushy texture" and "the multigrain bread has a spongy texture on the sliced side with a coarse texture on the crust". Good lighting and very well focused! This pic also took some use of grey matter in its design, and you even throw in some humor on the title! I LIKE IT ALOT! This could be the only 10 that I score. |

| Almost makes me hungry. I feel that right side upping it, and not cropping out the top right (would-be bottom left) could help. Great white background and lighting. |

| This pic would have been much better if you had used a green/blue background rather than white to contrast with the salmon and bread, too. Nice capture of the bread textureThat salmon looks delectable! getting hungry. |

| very nice photo.. i'm curious why you decided to crop one small corner of this subject? I think the texture here is great but I'm stumbling on the framing... i can't make up my mind if a tighter crop would have been better than clipping a small corner... = 8 - jmsetzler |
