 From the original photo I enlarged it,
Cropped it again, then sharpened and blurred,used saturation.
Then sharpened again till it got the result that you see here
Very simple, but in my opinion, it was very effective.

I rather like this image, and commend you on your ability to transform a rather mundane subject to a captivating piece of art. Don't let the naysayers detract you from your objectives. Wonderful work... keep it up.

I don't know what you did to this poor flower after you butcherd it on your computer! I suggest trying something more natural!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I'm just not a fan of this overprocessed look. It no longer feels like a photograph to me.

As a painting I'd say this is awesome. However, the amount of processing has eliminated any resemblance to a photograph.

Great colors but I'm not sure about the post processing. Don't think it enhances image. But then, the colors and the abstractness are pretty cool. 6 good luck!
