Still trying out some new editing techniques (new to me at least). I'm digging it so far, but I still have a long way to go to reach my goal. ;-)

This was inspired by susi's artistry... I don't know how she achieves the appearance in her photos that she does, but I love it! I tried to emulate what I "thought" might be involved. It's a step in the right direction anyway. ;-)

I like the way the darker clouds frame the giraffes head in this (edited that way I assume?). The trees to the right are a little distracting, but not horribly so. Nice shot!

Is it just me, or is the giraffe a completly different photo cropped in. Anyway it really pops, and the angle of shooting up at it (well i guess thats the only way with a giraffe) is really cool. It shows just how mamoth the animal is. Also the gray sky is amazing.

A great image enhanced by the crop. I'm not sure about this but I would probably clone out the trees to his right as they don't add much to the composition. The dark skyu seems to contrast against the bright areas in the leaves behind the giraffe. Hmmm... burning perhaps?

This is great! The giraffe really stands out well from the background.

I like the crop but I probably would crop it tighter at the top like say near where the top of the tree is on the right. I just think that would give him more presence and feel taller. Btw, love the look!

Love the Giraffe, I think the colors of the giraffe would have stood out me if it was a blue sky, but you gotta work with what you have.Looks like a longer exposure than the others cause it is not as sharp. But a very nice shot overall.
