 A somewhat new discovery, I find bokeh a fascinating dimension of photography and would like to learn more. Here I've tried to make bokeh as much the main subject of my photo as the in-focus subject, used more to enhance the contrast with the bokeh. Perhaps voters may find it strays from the challenge or doesn't have enough "dancing lights or orbs" but I like it a lot and had a lot of fun exploring the concept since it's also my first challenge attempt with my new camera and lens. So would just be happy to get useful comments altho having a score to push up my average would be most welcomed too. :)

Post-challenge: Wow - new personal best, most comments and most favourites in any challenge. Couldn't ask for more at this point. Thank you to all who voted high and marked it as a favourite. And thanks so much for all the great comments, even those who didn't really like it but who took the time to let me know :) Wow! (still rolling eyes in disbelief ...)

Wow, 10 favs! Nice work.

YOu definitely made the bokeh either a primary or strong secondary subject. I feel as if the foreground flowers are framing the OOF floowers in the BG. NOt sure how you achieved this effect but it is very paint-like. Great finish in a challenge with ovre 400 entries.

This entry has very over-processed look. The oof areas look pretty ugly and does not enhance the picture in any way. A below average entry.

Yes, good title.

Highly impressionistic, great comp, excellent color,great light, excellent movement, barely got your focal plane on the red flower, whites a bit blown but nt disturbingly, blacks ok,

I love this. This would be a perfect framed photo for a wall. Very calm and peaceful, I really like the focus on the RED flower, with almost everything else farther behind and blurred. Beautiful1!

I already voted, now back for comments. I gave you a 10 on this shot. Wow what a dreamy feel. This is my favorite from this challenge. Lovely vibrant colors, crisp detail on the red flower alone, excellent subject and bokeh. Love the border too.

I really like the hyper saturated color and the shift to a cooler/bluish range...the longer I look at this the more I like it...very nice.

That touch of red really sends it over the top for me. It truly does look like a painting, but I'm looking for one object to be in sharp focus, and I'm not finding it. Still, a beautiful image.
