 This was a test shot for a Vivitar 135mm f/2.8 lens. I recently bought a adaptor to allow this lens to be used on my Minolta Maxxum 5D. It has no connection to the electronics of the camera, hence the EXIF reads a default f/1.0 for all shots. It must be manually focussed and the aperture must be set manually.
The picture is a friend's son and his dog. Very little post processing - cropped, saturation boosted slightly, curves adjusted.

The dog looks like it is missing a leg, and I find this distracting.

I can see Bokeh, but I can't see how "the subject is enhanced by the bokeh of the background".
