I don't feel that the bokeh does anything for this picture...i believe the picture is poorly framed and the bokeh is only needed because the background is distracting.

Nice facial expression.

However, I don't see how the background enhances the subject. Also, it's too dead-center. Maybe you could've shown us what he's looking at?
