I took a day trip with my family to The Fantastic Umbrella Factory in Charlestown, RI. Usually there are chickens living in this coop but they were all gone. To impart a sense of loneliness and perhaps a bit of menace, I shot from way down on the ground into the trees. I know it is a rule not to shoot into the sun but in this case,I broke it on purpose. I think the glare through the trees adds drama. I know I'll hear about it but it was my choice. I desaturated and adjusted the brightness and contrast a bit. Exposure Compenation -1.3

i think if this was not so close up and not such a creative angle i would get that feeling of an empty coop, right now as is, i dont get that feeling, most likely due to the small amount of the building being visible.
i may be wrong or offbase as we all see things differently and comprehend different, so hopefully i dont offend.
i would advise photo this from further back allowing us to see more of the building, in lonliness and maybe even neglect.

Good capture but the foreground is a bit dark compared to the sky.

Nice Idea but a little too blown out in the sky area.

Unfortunately because of the up angle, the sky and tree got overexposed.

The blown highlights in the sky are very distracting, highlights are ok if they are just the sky but here they seem to have bled into the the leaves and branches all around the coop. Prehaps you could have concentrated more on the empty coop and excluded most of the sky, the reflection in the window looks pretty desolate, maybe that would have been a better photo?

overexposed above the door, nice shot though

this is jolly nice. i like the originally creative point of view, and the dark colours of the shed compared to the blown areas of sky, which unusually complements the feel of the image. having the door open is a clever touch. i like the state of the window; it conveys the impression of age nicely. it's good! 7.
