I was surprised you didn't place higher with this shot. i think the surreal lonliness depicted imparts a feeling of desolation.

This reminds me of similar photo from one of the big names in photography (though I dont remember the name..maybe Avedon). This is really good photo but it does not give feel of desolation. I like it very much if I do not have to associate it with challenge theme.

Interesting, surreal looking photo. Needs a bit of work, though. It's tilted slightly to the left and I feel the person is too centered.

Interesting use of the various sources of light, but kind of an odd picture. Fits the challenge.

i like how the light from the moon, street light and face are almost identical. theres nothing that wows me about this but it has a cool mood to it. 7

Clever - I like the triangle formed by the three light sources.

Clever! I like the grouping of three lights, the face, the moon, and the streetlight. The glow on the model's body is pretty cool.

How neat. I love this! The moon and street light give it a reference, but you are still drawn to the main subject. Great job! 10

Great idea, and well executed. I like the colour choice too.

Joey??

In art class they teach you about how the great masters would use the triangle in their paintings so as to lead your eye.

great comp, excellent movement, blacks a bit deep, and whites blown, nice lighting, good forethought

Surreal, hypnotic, enlightened. These things come to mind. No sense of desolation is evoked or depicted. But IMO it is a clever photo which has its uses.

Like the three points of light, but the rest of the image doesn't do much for me I'm afraid.
