With the 30sec exposure challenge, I had to wait until late evening to try for the effect. Did something like this once before with my print camra using the double exposure feature. Can't do double exposures with the 10D. This worked fairly well. Tried three times. My wife posed for half the exposure time then walked out of the scene. Unfortunately, a car passed by with it's lights on lightening up the street a little.

From RAW image-
In Photoshop:
Cropped for effect;
sized for the challenge;
in layers: auto adjusted levels; slight curve adjustment;
USM; 138%, .7, 1;
saved for the web.

Interesting

This would be better if the tree and woman weren't centered.

Great illusion. I'd love to know how this was done. I suspect that the lens was covered for a few seconds, allowing the person to enter the scene for the last few seconds.

COOL

I wish the tree and person were not so centered, but I really like the effect.

Creative, the colors and exposure are good, but it is a tad oof. My only suggestion would have been a composition on thirds therfore cropping out the right third of the pic where the bright street is. It pulls my eye away from the subject and does not add to the picture.

I like this shot, but I find the bird feeder and background distracting.

Without the birdhouse, and an off-center crop maybe?

Clever...

Well executed... a bit blown on the grass.. I presume that you used some heavy filtering? Or the lenscap? If not, nice work on the color balance.
