Location: Kitchen
Date: Jun 13, 2006
Aperture: 5.6
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/100

Date Uploaded: Jun 13, 2006

First photo that I have shot strictly for the purpose of a challenge, 8th place is a decent start to that trend.

Cut out the bottom of the big gulp, used my off camera shoe cord to bring my flash up to face level with Cara to add some shadow to the right side of her face for contrast, took about 2 minutes to shoot, and voila.

I would like to see some "Slurpee" added to create a second frame. I think that it would make the edges more enclosing and give the image less negative space. The idea is very interesting, and I really like the subject and her expression. I like photographs that pose as 'documentary' but are obviously directed, and this definately fits the category.

One of my favorites in the challenge. Great job on coming up with something original. Lighting is spot on and I like how you can make out the text on the cup. Good Luck!

Amazing idea that was well executed. Would like to see a bit more light on the right side of the girl (her left), but that's just a personal opinion. ;)
