 During a drive to the sea front, looking for an expensive boat to capture for the Indulgence challenge, I saw this piece of art that framed this beautiful view... so I decided it was a sign on switching challenges and go for the Framing one...

Pw. convert from Raw, some color adjustments and cropping.

Congrats on a new PB - well done. This is truly a good one. I expect that a lot of people might have gone overboard with the colours; these subtle colours are as they should be. I browsed through the comments and saw that someone had commented on the cropping. I am not good in that department - should sometimes crop a bit more. I have looked at this one from that point of view and I think that if you had cropped, you would have had to crop from the top and the sides, and I am not sure that would have been a better shot. The composition is good, as is.
And after that DQ, you are in 14th place (just like me) :)

7 - Nice composition, colors and lines. Difficult, but if only the boat were more discernible - which, without your title, might have missed it. Your title detracts too, but fairly minor.

It's probably Icelandic. I think you should had cropped it tighter.

Someone once commented on one of my photos with a long title, "Have more faith in your shot, and the viewer's intellignece to figure it out." This is a very nice photo which well meets the challenge. But the title diminishes it IMO.

Good photo, but the title is way too wordy. My only suggestion for improvement is that the colors seem somewhat dull. Try bumping up the saturation and see what happens.

Like your frame a lot. The shape and the gradient of it look great. Good job putting it off-centre too. It's a shame it's basic editing. You could have added some brightness and contrast and/or saturation to the foreground of your scene to go with that lovely sky. The composition of your scene is good too.

your title is way too long and too explanatory, but your image is amazing and I want to to look around in it but I keep seeing all these words at the bottom that distract me. just a suggestion
