Aww .. come on .. don't take it that hard .. sometimes it takes a bit more work and doesn't come as easily. The other images in your portfolio are outstanding.(I love the bird claws).

I had a split second with this one before people walked into the shot. I'm guessing I sholdn't have even bothered and wondering if I should ever bother entering any of these challenges again.

Good subject to illustrate the challenge. I'm thinking with all those yachts, there must have been a more interesting angle to shoot from that didn't have all those distractions like ropes and posts and other boats. I think you could have done better. Because of it's strong relation to the challenge, 6

Great idea for an indulgent subject. But which yacht is the subject? Composition could be improved, as this is too busy for me, without a clear focal point.

Meets the challenge, but there's a slight blue overtone that makes the lighting seem off. Also the blown highlight on the boat to the right is distracting. Looks like a gorgeous day, though!

The eye tends to roam around the photo. Try to focus on a center of interest.

What's the focal point of the image ? I see 5 yachts but none is really a subject in this picture.
Perhaps a view from another vantage point would have been better.

This looks a bit too busy for my liking; it ends up just being a jumble of boat shapes without carrying a lot of impact - either in terms of sheer size or luxuriousness. I think this is a case where "less is more" - if you could isolate one of the yachts, particularly a large one (with something else to give a reference point for size) then it would work better. Other yachts in the background would be ok, but these are too mixed up together.
