I'm trying to understand the story this picture tells... it seems to suggest to me a tragedy of some sort... heart attack? and the cup was spilled onto the floor? It seems to be a stretch for entry into the INDULGENCE challenge.
Technically, the photo seems a bit soft (that is, not sharply focused) and the color and contrast seem bland, sort of monotoned. I think your score of just over 5 is a good score for this photo. |

| I like the shot, though it seems a little soft but... it doesn't really say indulgence to me - perhaps a steaming, frothy cup of actual coffee might work better? A spilt cup of beans doesn't work for me. Still stronger than majority of entries in this challenge. |

| one word: foam. if you want to convey indulgence, you want a picture thats enticing, inviting, salivating if you're talking food. my lovely coffe is on the floor, caffiene addicts suddenly feel very depressed looking at this. nice placement, little too dark: white highlights are actually grey here, while the shadows have lost detail. |

| Nice idea, but insufficient depth of field (coffee is out-of-focus) and lighting could have been better. |
