Thank you to DPC for keeping me creative in my endeavors!!!

My flash was bounced to the left & there was a window to the right. The frame was hung by fishing line I think you can still see it somewhat. Too bad it's not advanced editing- theres a few specks of lint I'd like to clone out too and I think there should be more red 'border' but my backdrop (a sheet) was not cooperating! :0) Also you can see the hardware under the frame which I thought I tucked well enough but didn't.

TIP!!!! Put a plastic garbage bag under the fabric. Has saved my pillows twice now :0P

Seems like there's barrel distortion?

appears very professionally done - almost a bit too much if that makes any sense. the frame actually saves it from being another kind of portrait you see in the high street, it's a great ornate beast of a frame, isn't it? goes with the colours of the velvetish material and the sprog very well; the tones are all very complementary. might have cropped three or four millimeters off the bottom, but other than that, wouldn't touch it. great shot for any parent to hang on the wall (frameless canvas, naturally!) 8

Nice choice of colors. I don't know for sure without seeing it but I think that I might like lanscape better. There is a lot of backgroud over the little one's head. S/he is going to love you for this. :)
