Another photo taken at Mission San Jose. I love the texture in those old walls -- close to 300 years old. In the U.S., that kind of age just blows my mind.

I bet I get comments on the tilted window. . .but I guess back in the early 1700's, they didn't always use levels because that's the way that window really is. It's not square, and the outer cut very much slopes... sorry. I'm usually phoebic about tilts too, but what can you do.

This is great and I think it should have scored much higher! I love these types of shots.

This so deserved a much higher score..... Well done Sandy and I love it..... I really can't understand how anyone would give this "1's" and "2's", as it is just beyond me.....

Good shot! Very impressive tones and exposure. A thight crop may works fine to me, but it is pretty good.

Beautiful texture on the "window" frame, and an attractive building inside.

Nice. Perhaps more focus on the tower and less in the foreground.

Beautifully done! I love how the port hole frames the church steeple. Very dramatic with lots of rich colors and contrast. Bar none, my favorite entry.

I think focus should be on the background for this photo... I like it though :)

Very effective. I think this is one of the best in this submission since both foreground and background are in focus.

Nice photo. Might have been more powerful if the subject in the frame was in sharper focus.
