 I'd taken a similar shot to this last year and my partner's daughter really loved it. I set out for this challenge to retake that shot, but found myself being distracted by many other potential shadows. In the end though I've stuck with this one and hope the voters like it too.

Shot in RAW on a very clear day, late in the afternoon just as the shadows are starting to get longer before they fade. Converted using Olympus Master and very minor levels adjustment done in PS CS2 (my new toy!) Applied again a very little USM, resized and saved. This shot really is virtually untouched.

this is a very pleasing example of geometry and light, which should also please the majority of voters one would imagine. it feels quite arty, and i love the brightness of the white and the depth of the blue. very nice, 8.
