I like this.. Abstracts, patterns in nature catch my eye and I enjoy photographing them. It's a little difficult to see exactly what the texture is. Kinda shiny so I assume it's smooth too. Reminds me of ice actually. It could be a little clearer I think, which is not always too easy with shiny things, but seems a little out of focus.

I like the "slickness" of this picture. I think it is a little dark on the left to be completely effective, though.

I really wanted to like this shot. I submitted a feather also, but where do I start? Overall, this shot is dark. Then there is the glossy reflection, which makes me ask, where did you get this feather, from an oil spill area? Was this a painted feather? Oh my, could this be a leaf? (hadn't thought about that until now) I can't think of a type of leaf with veins this closely packed, it must be a feather. I started this shot out with a 5 (my I don't know what to do with this shot vote) and I am going to leave it there (as I still don't know). 5 Swash (please, don't be discouraged by my comments, I'm a silly little fool....)

i'm not quite sure, is this a leaf with rolled up leaf-parts? i like the placement in the photo. and half of it either covered in ice or silver paint? to be honest, it's hard to distinguish. The right side is mainly too dark, but really, i think the whole picture could do with being lightened somewhat. curious to see your description of this when the voting is over. -- gr8photos (3)

It looks like you have a nice angle here but it's a bit too dark I think.
