The title comes from an episode of the Elizabethan Blackadder series, starring Rowan Atkinson. Sir Percy, the stunningly stupid fop, has taken up alchemy. He proudly shows his resulting blob to Blackadder - a lump of stuff somewhat resembling a frozen dog turd. Blackadder says 'Congratulations, Sir Percy. You have created a lump of purest green'. Sir Percy takes this as a compliment.

It's a Koosh Ball with a motion acitvated light inside.

I've been meaning to use this for a month now, and fnally get it in!

Greetings from CTP2 Gunnsi
First impression

Don't know what to say! It screams at me. Can't stop and look at any part of it, my eyes just wander to the next bit every time I try to stop. So in the end I stop where you didn't want me to. Namely in the overblown section. So I think "Overblown" in stead of thinking: "Hey this is cool"
What can you do better
Higher shutter speed or lower aperture to get rid of the overblown part.
Also consider a different placement or add another thing beside it.

Nice and bright, would like it better if that little bit of blue weren't there.

I spent a lot of time in the sun today, and my eyes are fried - this shot actually PULSATES! Wow, very cool! (But seriously, cool capture - looking forward to finding out what this is and how the lighting was setup.) Good luck!

Is it just me or do you have an optical illusion here? The light seems to pulse when you look at the image. Cool

Looks like a koosh ball. I like the way the light comes out from the center. Almost looks like a green firework.
