 Update on the Birds challlenge. I shot the vulture last time and this time I wanted to get another emotional shot of an exotic bird. i didn't want to shoot the vulture, but instead stick within the "Birds" challenge and add something fresh based on comments received. Comments last time ranged from blown highlights on eyebrow of vulture, to nice contrast. So, I took the positive elements and comments and the negative and used that to fortify these three goals:

1. Proper exposure.
2. Emotional Conveyance
3. Better finish.

For a second there, I thought it was the real thing. Is this yours Fritz? The colors are just pleasing and quite a wonderful sight. But why is it a stuffed animal? LOL!

Oh colourful indeed. My only nit would be that the black of the head is lost in the bg.

what a fascinating bird a tucan is! this has amazing colours and I love the composition...one of my favourites in this challenge...haven't seen the original, but this looks fantastic and I hope you do well with this, good luck
